Moragues Construction, Inc. did a complete kitchen remodel on this fantastic ranch home in the Eldorado neighborhood. The main floor had lots of potential but needed some work. Opening up the space between the formal dining room and kitchen allows more open space for entertaining. Moragues Construction, Inc. put in pearl white cabinets along with granite countertops to really update the kitchen. While stainless steel appliances, laminate flooring,and stone backsplash add a fresh look with superior durability...

Project Description:

The current homeowners purchased this Mid-Century Modern 1950’s gem anticipating the need for a complete renovation. Although the home had good spaces it still felt like the traditional 1950’s home. Our marching orders was to create a concept that felt comfortable to live in, not too open, but was good for entertaining and gathering. 

 

The design we went with was a modern contemporary look with a major emphasis on simple and comfortable. In the kitchen this translated to a Grayish White shaker style cabinet, dark rich white oak wood floors, and iridescent granite. We complimented these finishes with new appliances and a tiled backsplash. 

In the master suite we added a Walk-in closet and moved a wall to accommodate a larger master bathroom. We used Carrara marble, dark wood cabinets and clean chrome finishes to accent the walk in shower, freestanding soaking tub, and double vanity. We wanted a timeless design that made you feel like you were at a spa.

Other highlights of the project include the hallway bathroom and entryway.
